The ESG Consortium (ESGC) and BEAM Society Limited (BSL) hosted a joint seminar on Feb 28, titled Embrace ESG Adoption in the Data Centre Ecosystem.
 
Audience included IT operators and business leaders from established companies, including MTR Corporation Limited 香港鐵路有限公司, Arup and the Hong Kong Internet of Things Alliance (HKIOTA). 

Ir. Chi-Shing HO, General Manager of BSL, emphased the importance of ESG, and shared with the audience the effective ESG practices and framework of BEAMPlus Data Center (DC) v1.0.
 
Mr. Hugh Chow, Executive Director of ESGC, introduced the vision and mission of ESGC and its impressive lineups of our Committee and group of Advisors. He further explained how technology and blockchain will enable tracking, and to monitor progress on ESG performance.
 
Upcoming will be the preparation for industry benching of the data centre sector.
