Oxfam Trailwalker has since 1986 been one of the most significant NGO fundraising sports events in Hong Kong. This year over 1,000 participants, support team members and volunteers will be on the MacLehose Trail and paths in the country parks. At The ESG Consortium we are glad to see that the event organiser has taken extra steps to remind participants to preserve wildlife and the natural environment🌳. Its suggests low carbon tips, including no littering, minimise waste, consume water responsibly, avoid use of plastic, BPA-free and stainless steel bottles are safer and more reliable. 😎 Choose sportswear and products made with recycled materials and be mindful of environmental protection. It also suggested joiners to use public transport to travel to Pak Tam Chung, Sai Kung, so to reduce greenhouse emissions.
