Panel chairman

Ir HO Chi-shing is a practicing engineer as well as a lawyer.  He graduated with BSc (Engineering) from HKU, then earned an MBA, a Post-graduate Diploma in Software Engineering, and PCLL from HKU; and LLB from Manchester Metropolitan University of UK.
He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of BEAM Society Limited, Honorary Chairman of Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency, the Co-Convenor of the Committee on Green & Sustainable Finance of UNESCO HK Association, a Barrister-at-law at the High Court of Hong Kong, and an Adjunct Associate Professor of the University of Hong Kong, teaching engineering and legal subjects at both the graduate and post-graduate levels.
Before joining the legal profession, Ir HO Chi-shing had been working with Hong Kong Housing Authority as the Chief Building Services Engineer, heading the Building Services Section responsible for the design and construction of BS installations of all the new public housing development projects. Ir HO is a Chartered Engineer, a fellow of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers and a Corporate Member of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE).  He had also served as a committee member of The Hong Kong Council for Testing and Certification (HKCTC); and the Electrical Division and the Building Services Discipline Advisory Panel of HKIE.

The Honourable Jonathan Lamport is the Founder and CEO of A-Grade Energy Limited, a Hong Kong-based renewable energy provider. A seasoned professional in global trade, he is widely recognized for his strategic resilience and decisive leadership.

Mr. Lamport is an influential figure within the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC), having chaired its Asia, Africa, and Middle East Committee from 2022 to 2024. In this role, he led high-level delegations to Japan, Bahrain, and the UAE, developing deep expertise in cross-border trade. Currently serving as an elected Legislative Council member representing the Commercial (First) Functional Constituency, Mr. Lamport is dedicated to bridging the private sector and the Government. He leverages his extensive commercial experience to advocate for policies that bolster Hong Kong’s economic growth, actively championing initiatives that strengthen the city’s position as a premier global business hub.

Professional

Ricky Cheng is the Director and Head of Risk Advisory at BDO Hong Kong, with over 20 years of experience in risk management, internal audit, and corporate governance in China and Hong Kong. He is a key contributor to the development of sustainability standards, currently serving on the Sustainability Disclosure Standards Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA). His deep ESG expertise is further evidenced by his past tenure on the HKICPA Sustainability Committee and his Advisory Board role at the HKMA Global Centre of ESG Education and Research. Specializing in ESG readiness and corporate governance reviews, Ricky is a Fellow of the HKICPA, ACCA, and the Hong Kong Corporate Governance Institute. His background as a recognized thought leader and educator in regulatory compliance ensures the technical rigor and professional judgment essential for evaluating excellence in ESG performance.

Investment

Olivia To is Senior Vice President (Sustainability) Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Invest Hong Kong, the government department responsible for attracting and facilitating foreign direct investment into Hong Kong. She is a sustainability professional specializing in climate change and green technology.
In her previous role at the Environmental Protection Department of HKSARG, she worked with directorates to prepare Hong Kong’s Climate Action Plan 2050 and carbon accounting. She is an engineer by training, certified carbon auditor, carbon trader and WELL AP. She serves as an Academy Advisor and Fellow at The Education University of Hong Kong Kong, the Advisory Committee Member of the Institute for Climate and Carbon Neutrality at the University of Hong Kong and a member of Committee of the Energy Institute.

She holds a master’s degree in environmental engineering and management from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a bachelor’s degree in Global Environmental Studies from The Education University of Hong Kong. As a rescue diver, she continues her passion in marine conservation at leisure.

Professional

Serena Mak is currently Executive Director, Sustainable Finance, Institutional Banking Group at DBS Hong Kong. She provides strategic direction and guidance on sustainable finance transactions while also fostering a culture of sustainability within the bank. Prior to joining DBS, Serena was the Head of ESG Funding Asia for Home Credit, where she successfully contributed to the group’s sustainability-linked financing in Asia. She also held several positions at Goldman Sachs in Singapore and Hong Kong, with a focus on liquidity management across the APAC region. Serena holds a Master of Science degree in Financial Analysis as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Global Business & Management of Organizations from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She is a Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA), CPA (Australia), and FRM. Serena also serves as Board Governor and Honorary Secretary at Friends of the Earth (Hong Kong) and is on the examiner team for the Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA) program by the European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies (EFFAS)
