I am honored to address you as the Executive Director of The ESG Consortium and share with you our mission and vision for a sustainable future. At The ESG Consortium, we are dedicated to promoting the adoption of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices across various industries including large and small-to-medium enterprises.
Our mission is twofold. Firstly, we aim to promote ESG best practices and to drive positive change through both generic and industry specific benchmarks as well as reporting frameworks that are affordable, accountable and actionable. Secondly, we strive to ensure materiality, traceability and insurability through our certification processes that are credible, reliable and generally acceptable through our technology-based quantitative data platform.
Sustainability by nature enables companies to gain easier access to capital, enhances their competitiveness, and improves operational efficiency and robustness.
Our vision is to create a future where businesses of all sizes prioritize sustainability and act responsibly.
