ESG Inclusion Award 2024 -Criteria

ESG Performance Improvement (40 points):

  • Environmental Performance (15 points): Evaluation based on ESGC Benchmark Reporting for General Sector version 2.0 requirements, focusing on initiatives to reduce environmental impact, enhance resource efficiency, and address climate change.
  • Social Performance (15 points): Assessment aligned with ESGC Benchmark Reporting for General Sector version 2.0, emphasizing diversity, inclusion, employee well-being, and community engagement efforts.
  • Governance Performance (10 points): Review following ESGC Benchmark Reporting for General Sector version 2.0 guidelines, examining governance structures, transparency, ethics, and accountability practices within SMEs.

ESG Solutions Provider (40 points):

  • Innovation and Impact (15 points): Evaluation of the creativity, uniqueness, and effectiveness of ESG-related solutions developed by SMEs for their clients.
  • Client Engagement (15 points): Assessment of the level of client satisfaction, impact on client ESG performance, and value delivered through the implemented solutions.
  • Scalability and Replicability (10 points): Consideration of the potential for scalability and replicability of the ESG solutions across different industries and business contexts.

Implementation and Practicality (20 points):

  • Cost-Effectiveness (5 points): Evaluation of the cost efficiency and affordability of implementing ESG initiatives and solutions within SMEs.
  • Quick Implementation (5 points): Assessment of the speed and agility in deploying ESG solutions, demonstrating a rapid response to emerging sustainability challenges.
  • Practicality and Feasibility (10 points): Review of the practicality, feasibility, and sustainability of the ESG practices and solutions integrated into SMEs’ operations and client services.

Bonus Points (Up to 10 points):

  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Recognition of SMEs that have collaborated with stakeholders, industry partners, or NGOs to enhance their ESG performance and impact.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Acknowledgment of SMEs that have actively engaged with stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, and communities, in their ESG journey.
  • Continuous Improvement: Rewarding SMEs that demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement in ESG performance, showing progress over time and a dedication to sustainability.
